Hallettsville's Davenport to play in Texas Roundup

Hallettsville senior James Davenport has been selected to
participate in the 9th Texas Roundup All-Star high school basketball game on
March 22 at 5 p.m. in Maypearl.
The Texas Roundup selects the state's top 24
boys and 24 girls from Class 1A, 2A and 3A schools to play in the event.
Davenport was the District 28-2A Defensive MVP
this season and helped guide the Brahmas to the regional quarterfinals. He
scored 555 points and grabbed 353 rebounds with 56 assists.
